We share a beach with Beesley's Point Sea-Doo Inc and are located at the end of the beach closest to Rte 9. To find us by GPS, use the address 912 Rte Us 9 N, Marmora, NJ 08223. Limited parking is available in the lot, but there are plenty of spots along the main road adjacent to the beach. Parking is free.
As Sailing is not an inherently dry sport, it is recommended that you do not bring anything on board that cannot get wet. Normal beach attire and weather appropriate clothing (sunglasses, hat, jacket, etc) are recommended. PFDs will be provided for all sailors and must be worn at all times while on the vessel. Personal PFDs can be used in place of provided PFDs if preferred. Closed toed waterproof shoes are recommended. There is a snack bar located at the beach where we launch from, but we cannot guarantee that they will always be open, so plan accordingly.
If dropping off a minor, please make sure to check in with your instructor at the beach before leaving. On the first day, waivers will need to be signed before any lessons can begin.
Students do not need any prior sailing experience, but should be comfortable in and around the water.
In case of inclement weather, safety is our #1 concern. If our instructors feel that the weather is too bad to sail, they will not bring students on the water. In the case of thunderstorms, sessions may need to be cancelled entirely. A decision will be made at the start of each session regarding cancellations. Camp days cancelled by Point Sailing will receive a partial refund of $50 per day missed.
